The Road to the Third Time Classic begins NOW!
The first of four scheduled Season 3 major racing series events, The Road to the Third Time Classic encompasses the week of June 5 to June 11.
With many qualifier races already filling up, let’s get everyone up to speed and on the same page as to what your stable needs to do to be a part of this weekend’s big race.
Major Series Racing Event and Time
The Third Time Classic will take place on June 10 at 7 pm EST at the Third Time Raceway.
The Setting
The Third Time Classic will be a 20 horse 10-furlong left-turning turf race. The last reported weather forecast calls for a 40% chance of rain.
Purse and Prizes
This week’s Third Time Classic will feature a maximum purse of 80,000 $DERBY ($1,000).
Road to the Third Time Classic
The Road to the Third Time Classic is a prestigious series of high-stakes qualifier races, each carrying with it a set amount of series qualifier points.
By finishing in the top 4 of any race, participants earn qualifier points for the Third Time Classic.
To qualify for the Third Time Classic, horses must accumulate at least one (1) point through their performances in the qualifying races. However, only the horses with the 20 highest scores will have the privilege of competing in the grand race.
