In Season 23, the Kingmaker Series receives a significant refresh, ensuring it continues to represent the highest level of competition.
Our goal is to ensure the Kingmaker is where the best of the best race for some of the season’s highest rewards, including, of course, $CROWN. With that goal in mind, we’ve made some changes that create less friction and more incentive for those stables seeking to reap the Kingmaker rewards.

No More Weekly Series
Sometimes, less is more, and the wait makes the payoff much sweeter. With that in mind, the Kingmaker weekly series is now history, replaced with a monthly series.
This change increases the prestige of each race and builds anticipation, allowing more preparation time for competitors.
Monthly Win & In Series
Qualifying race winners in this new monthly format earn guaranteed spots in major events.
This straightforward system ensures the best horses advance while intensifying competition.

$CROWN Riches and Larger Prize Pools
- Highest $CROWN Allocation: G2/3 races offer the highest $CROWN allocation across the board.
- Enhanced Prize Pools: A higher percentage of entry fees flows directly into prize pools, representing higher financial incentives for top-tier competitors.
Juvenile & 3+ Series
Races are split into two categories:
- Juvenile: For 2-year-olds.
- 3+: For horses aged 3 and older.
Each category features a tailored series to match the developmental stages of the horses.
Dedicated Finale Events
Finale events cater to each racing archetype (LD/RD/RT/LT), split into sprint, middle distance, and stayer races.
- 12 events for Juveniles
- 12 events for 3+ horses
Substantial Freeroll Prizes
- 3+ Finales: 2500 $CROWN each.
- Juvenile Finales: 1500 $CROWN each.
