Introducing the all-new and improved Pick’Em Challenge Series!

The Pick-Em Series is here to test your handicapping skills, reward your picks, and offer a chance to win fantastic prizes every Saturday.

How to Join the Fun

Joining the Pick-Em Series is easy and free!

Every Saturday, make your selections to win each race on the provided entry form.

Need some guidance on your picks? Race programs are typically shared in the #irl-racing channel on Discord to help you make informed decisions.

Make sure to get your picks in before the first post, and then sit back and see if you can outsmart that week’s handicapper!

Here are the two links you’ll need to get started:

How to Win

The Pick-Em Series offers two prizes: Daily Prizes and Seasonal Prizes.

Daily Prizes:

  • Daily Winners can choose a custom referral code for their PFL account. To request the change, message Community Manager Bryce.
  • Top Pick of the day wins a horse! If there’s a tie, the winner is chosen via a wheel spin.
  • Miscellaneous Prizes may include Crown, Free Renames, Free Scratches, PFL Pro Subscriptions, and more. These prizes are sometimes announced before the event or given as surprises when participants perform exceptionally well.

Seasonal Prizes:

  • All Daily Overall Winners enter a final wheel spin at the end of the season for a chance to win a female horse!
  • All daily winners participate in a Freeroll Race on the morning of the season’s final day, with at least 50 $CROWN in the pot. The race will be 8f-LD-40% for horses aged 3+.
  • The entrant with the most correct picks during the season wins:
    • A special Discord tag as the Pick-Em Champion
    • The ability to name the Pick-Em Freeroll for the next season (with TTG approval)
    • A PFL Pro Subscription
    • A whitelist spot in the Freeroll Race for daily winners, providing an extra spot for another horse if you’ve already won a daily contest.

Beat the Handicapper

Do you think you can beat the expert? If you outsmart the handicapper any day, you’re entered into a wheel spin for a chance to win a horse!

At the end of the season, all “Beat the Handicapper” daily winners will also have a chance to win a female horse in a final wheel spin.

Determining Prizes

Prizes vary based on the number of entrants each week:

  • 5-10 Entrants: A-/A Grade Horse
  • 10-25 Entrants: A+ Grade Horse
  • 25-50 Entrants: S- Grade Horse
  • 50+ Entrants: S Grade Horse

Prizes are awarded randomly within each grade, but you can upgrade your horse! Here’s how:

How to Upgrade the Horse You Won

Daily Prizes:

  • You have 24 hours after the winners are announced to upgrade the horse you won. Send Bryce a DM with your “My Picks” page showing over 1000 Derby points from the previous week to upgrade your horse by one grade. (S Grade horses are capped and cannot be upgraded.)
  • If you have over 1500 Derby in picks, you can choose a male horse within the Boss Stable to upgrade your prize. Named horses are not eligible for selection.

Seasonal Prizes:

  • Similarly, you have 24 hours after the seasonal winners are announced to upgrade your horse. Send Bryce your “My Picks” page with over 3000 Derby points from the current season to upgrade by one grade. (S Grade horses are capped and cannot be upgraded.

**Picks for the prior week must have been made by the end of the event to count. Only horses aged 2+ can be “selected” by those who qualify.
