What is the PFL Pick-Em Series?
The PFL Pick-Em Series is a free-to-play weekly contest held every Saturday, where players submit WIN bets on select real-life horse races.
You’ll compete against a featured guest handicapper, earn points, and chase down both daily and seasonal prizes—all while engaging with the PFL community.
When Does It Happen?
Every Saturday is game day. That’s when the races run, the picks are tallied, and the prizes are won.
How to Participate: Step-by-Step
Step 1: Submit Your Picks
- Visit the Pick-Em submission form
- Enter your WIN bets—each is treated as a virtual $2 bet.
- Choose your winners wisely.
Step 2: Watch the Races
- Tune in on Saturday to follow your picks in action.
- Track your results on the official Pick-Em leaderboard.
Step 3: Engage in the Community
- Join the #irl-racing channel in the Photo Finish™ LIVE Discord.
- Chat about the races, join in giveaways, and participate in live pop-up contests.
How to Win (and What You’ll Win)
There are multiple ways to walk away with prizes each Saturday:
- Daily Winner – Highest total winnings earns a free horse.
- Beat the Handicapper – Outperform the guest picker and you’ll be entered into a wheel spin to win a horse.
- Top 2 Finishers – Earn a freeroll entry into the Seasonal Pick-Em Championship, where $50 and other prizes are up for grabs.
- Race of the Day Winner – Nail the winner of the featured race and qualify for the Predictors Cup Freeroll ($20 prize pool).
- Bonus Prizes – Throughout the season, you could also win stud covers, breed reports, breed-to-own opportunities, and more.
Seasonal and Upgrade Prizes
Horse Prize Tiers Based on Number of Entrants:
- 5–10 entrants: A-/A Grade Horse
- 10–25 entrants: A+ Grade Horse
- 25–50 entrants: S- Grade Horse
- 50+ entrants: S Grade Horse
All horses are awarded randomly within their grade. But you can upgrade your prize if you’ve been placing picks using Derby in PFL.
How to Upgrade Your Prize Horse
Daily Prize Upgrades
- Within 24 hours of winner announcements, DM Bryce in Discord.
- Show your “My Picks” page with 1,000+ Derby points from the previous week to upgrade your horse by one grade.
- If you scored 1,500+ Derby points, you can select a male horse from the Boss Stable (excluding named horses).
Seasonal Prize Upgrades
- Within 24 hours of seasonal winner announcements, DM Bryce with your “My Picks” page.
- Show 3,000+ Derby points from that season to upgrade by one grade.
- S Grade horses are capped and cannot be upgraded further.
- All qualifying picks must be made before the event ends.
